Flanders Moss NNR
I ventured out early this morning to have a look at Flanders at sunrise. Sometimes it is worth making that early start just to get a touch of wildness before the day’s work. A hard frost and a spectacular sunrise made it worthwhile. Red deer scattered across the Moss were worth looking at. Fieldfares, redwings, bramblings and pink-footed geese all going overhead added to the pleasure. But breaking the usual morning routine is the most important thing. This is what it looked like.
