Hardcore path work

Blawhorn Moss NNR

You have got to give them credit, the Oatridge countryside management students have been working at Blawhorn in all weathers over the winter. Hail, rain, snow and howling gales have all been thrown at them as they have helped us make the boardwalk safer at Blawhorn Moss by fixing non-slip strips to the treads. This latest time they were out there in snow, tackling with relish the extra task of firstly having to clear the snow to find the treads. The bonus of this work party being that the reserve was looking fantastic in its cloak of snow. The job is now nearly finished with probably only one more session left to do. So it will be all done for spring.
