Recently we have mostly been….

Flanders Moss NNR and Blawhorn Moss NNR

It has been a challenging last 10 days for all sorts of reasons, no less because of the beast from the East getting in the way. Here is a little of what we have been up to……

Cutting invading pine seedlings on Flanders Moss. The first day of the beast of the east, as the snow first started it was just very cold.

Working with Blackridge primary school on their camera trapping project and looking for tracks and signs at Blawhorn. Cold work but exciting. Lots of exciting poo found!

Digging a lot of snow. Just so we can get out of the work shop.

Once out of the workshop, the roads to Flanders were unrecognizable with impressive amounts of snow blown across the Carse.

And the reserves were stunning in a constantly changing carpet of the white stuff.

Working with contractors on car parks. Keep an eye on notices and blog posts to find out the latest on which car parks are in use and open.

I wonder what next week will hold for us. Watch here to find out.
