Bog caterpillars on the radio

Flanders Moss NNR

Ellie getting some moth action

Caterpillars have been on our minds a lot recently, see here and here. Ellie has had us out searching for rare ones – Rannoch Brindled beauty caterpillars – as part of her masters project and for the conservation benefit of Flanders Moss and its inhabitants. It has been fascinating work and obviously others are finding it interesting. A couple of weeks back Mark Stephen from the BBC Scotland Out of Doors radio programme came out to Flanders and interviewed her. She did an excellent interview and you can listen to it here. Just follow the link and she is first up – listen from minutes 03:10 to 10:15.
