A fruitful rain dance

At last we have had a good soaking of rain. This winter has been remarkably dry and with it following on from a dry summer the peatlands need a good winter filling up. So the last week, and the coming week will go some way to making up the deficit, soaking the sphagnum and filling the pools. .

It might not be what many people want but if you manage bogs then rainfall is the only water that makes it onto the bog so those bog managers can be seen during dry spells to do a little rain dance. Discretely mind you. But this one worked. Sorry.
